Last Sunday's flowers

Before

But after I ripped the old kitchen out.

Ten days later!

Ready for the owner to put paint on the walls and new tiles on the
floor.
The two drawers on the right are dishwashers. Under counter washing
machines are unusual here. Lots of plumbing under the sink and 16 new
electrical outlets around the room.

What am I up to?

Establishing myself as a Handyman here in Colorado. Installing kitchens, fixing leaks, wiring, plumbing and anything else people can't do themselves. I just installed a kitchen someone had bought from Craigslist - it came from a modern Loft with high ceilings and I installed it in a low basement so nothing fitted at all. I will post a before and after pic from my phone.
Weekends usually find time for a bike ride among the wildflowers. This also involves lots of thorns and flat tires. I think I found the solution - thorn-resistant inner tubes. They weigh a ton - unlike William's latest tubes - they are like tires - with a really thick part which positions itself behind the tread of the tire. W spoke of "rotational mass" but I am thinking of my increased "moment of inertia" - isn't that a good thing? once you get going - like a flywheel?

Somewhere over

The Walmart.

Prickly Pear Cactus

We've had the wettest spring ever and the wildflowers love it. The
cacti are stunted and close to the ground but they survive feet of
snow every year.
The old Moots got a flat from a different type of thorn.
