A Hawaian word meaning hello, goodbye and other things, was the theme for a birthday party I took Rose to yesterday. It started in the garden but then a severe storm came. Hail wasn't quite big enough to dent cars but it sure smashed the leaves. The wind destroyed a newly completed velodrome and floated cars away. Five miles away at home it hardly rained!
