Moots Mon

Said the Scotsman!
Moots is an expensive, very high quality bicycle made in Steamboat Springs Colorado about an hour from here. They are handmade from Titanium and cost new about $7,000 - more than I have even spent on a motorcycle. I sold three bicycles last year, on little William's advice, with the intent of replacing them with ONE good one. An important function of a bicycle for me is "eye candy" it has to look beautiful even when you are not riding it. Moots have perfect welds and the finish is just burnished titanium. They make other, even expensive bikes like Litespeed, look cheap. I am looking at some used ones including, tomorrow, this one in Denver. They have a pivotless rear suspension - visible to the keen eye under the saddle above the back wheel - a small compression spring.
Detailed questions about bicycles should be addressed to William's little World. You might find the answer to your questions in the archives of that blog because a few month ago he ran a, seemingly (to those not into bikes) series on fancy bikes.
Weather here is pretty foul - I can see snow on the mountains but here it is just raining endlessly.
I am hungry for some sarcastic comments!!

Comments:
You obviously need to come to Denmark where the sun is shining and everybody is out on their not so expensive bikes - most of them anyway, a few on very expensive bikes.
Remember the sunny day on the beach in California 3 years ago today?
Love MK

I can make a moot point if you like?
