Off to Santa Fe New Mexico

Santa Fe is the state capitol and stands at about 7,000 feet - 2,100 meters or so.
The scenery is typical high dessert with cacti and many including purple colored rocks. Made famous, among others by Georgia O'Keiffe in her paintings.
It's about 400 miles south of here and takes about 6 hours to drive to.
The only poem I know about the place is over on awheywithwords.blogspot.com
I'll post pictures from my phone if I can.

We'll have to go there at some point, but our weekend plans revolve around painting a window in Ringsted. (provided it doesn't rain)
Went to a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game, it was so much fun! We sat behind first base. A beautiful, heavenly night to be out.
We were awakened by a terrific jolt,an earthquake centered just 5 miles from us. Very sharp adn big reminder of the '94 quake that did so much damage. Just pictures swinging and couple things like that, all's okay.
Have a great time riding and such.
