What I call a pool!
only 50 lengths of this by my estimate for the morning mile! - definitely the best hotel pool I ever saw and it opens at 5.30 am daily.
I am still hoping to add Seoul to my list of olympic pools I have swum in - after my failure in Athens.
This place is just like Japan - including incredibly high prices - I LOVE it!

It rained all day yesterday but seems to have stopped now.

I keep hearing these tales about high prices in all these countries, makes me feel good about living here in US. I know our dollar is having bad time with other currencies but I know some items just cost alot in other places period.
Awesome pool!
Over the TV a 'tornado watch' for the NE section of LA, we never have that kind of weather!

It seems that "posh" hotels charge the same the world over, because they can.
Life on the streets where we go is cheap, cheaper than the US.

I hear tho that when you want another cup of coffee in Europe you have to pay the full price, whereas in US you only pay small amount extra, and you get free-bies more often here.
Very miserable weather here ... 110 today!
