A couple from the old album
little william and big william after their first long ride (and possibly only long ride) together - Shustoke to Solihull and back.
note the full beard and Claud Butler frame of Reynolds 531 tubing - 5 speed Suntour gears with a Power-Shifter.
( btw. Kauai was a business trip believe it or not and I didn't gain any weight still the same as in this photo roughly)

What a handsome young man.
I remember the second photo well & all of the necessities on the work surface - gripe mixture (7%?), nappy liners & cotton wool balls for cleaning bottoms.Dirty nappies in the yellow bucket, to be washed.
Babies were much more environmentally friendly before disposable nappies & wipes.

Apparently there is not such a big difference between washing nappies and disposables in terms of environmental impact. I remember riding to Grandma's house, it is good to see that we had the appropriate clothing, how did we survive before we had lycra in our closets? I am not sure D looks much like me, MK thinks i was chubbier, but I guess I was a few months old there.
