Cottage Pie like Mom used to make
For those who don't recognise it its a meat base with thyme, onions,
Marmite and stock. Topped with mashed potatoes baked and the top
broiled (grilled as they say in UK)

I just prepared one of the worst meals of my life, but it was slavaged to some extent by a pretty good rhubarb crumble and custard.
I'm making cottage pie for the get together when W, MK & family are here.
I put carrot in & bake them, with a little cheese on top.
