Sunday afternoon ride

The start of the Homestead Trail. MK, littlewilliam, J and I walked
this six mile round trip last summer. Well J was carried, but I
noticed it looked like, about MY kind of a mountain bike trail.
It seemed bit steeper on a bike but it was GREAT!

I'm impressed, did you ride up there then ride the trail or did you take the bike up in the car?
I'd love to be riding in short still, actually given where i am at the moment, i'd just love to be riding...

If I had ridden that far I would have blogged and bragged about it a lot more!
Bike in the car I'm afraid!
The sun goes behind the mountain around 3pm and then it gets cold fast. Temperatures are about 10C above normal at the moment.

I'd love to ride up there, it is mentioned in a lot of places as being a good mtb route. maybe next year sometime...
