Yosemite

Enjoying another of California's many riches combined with two days of
cooking classes.
Yosemite National Park is surrounded with sheer rock faces like this
with many waterfalls free-falling top to bottom (see the trouble I
went to not to use the cliché "cascading"?)
The Ahwahnee Hotel, built in 1927 sits, disproportionately massive,
in the middle of these cliffs with it's huge welcoming log fires
smelling like home.

Stay tuned for recipes from the cooking classes.

Comments:
Perhaps you didn't need an adjective at all, gravity being what it is.
Is this a career move or did M send you to widen your repertoire?

Please post a picture of the half dome and impress everyone with the fact that MK and I climbed it (11 hours there and back)
