This is what an espresso should look like.

After 43.000 miles all four tires were close to bald.

Faced with the choice of showing or hiding the white letters I decided they make me look younger so I showed them. The guy fitting the tires thought I was crazy.

I can already hear the pedants on how to spell tire. I am already tired of it. That is how we spell tyre here.

One of the benefits of email on phones is that you can post pictures and blogs just by entering an email address. This can be a disadvantage at times though because it is so easy to enter the wrong email address and you can blog something unintentionally.

Such was the case with the movement joint post recently. I meant to send it to a client of mine who has problems with allergies, which is why I had been asked to remove a whole Condo full of new, wool carpet. revealing a much cracked and repaired concrete floor. Her intention is to use area rugs to cover the concrete. I was concerned that she would be horrified by the mess I had revealed but on the contrary she was delighted to be able to breathe again.

The accidental blog seems to have attracted more comments than anything else I have posted recently so I left it there/here.

For those interested, Rose kicks more than any other baby in history - you can not only feel her kicking, you can watch her trying to kick her way out! Pre-natal classes start for both of us in February. We are all impatient for winter to be over and to hold her in our arms.

I plumbed her in and connected the drain.
After ten year's use, a year in one storage and three years in another
and a number of freeze thaw cycles she hissed and wheezed into some
sort of action. An espresso should take 19 seconds and have a good
"crema". This takes about 60 with NO crema. I think the pipes or the
pump are full of scale.

water, from four years ago, mainated in zeolite.

I love all the gifts
As to New Years Rezzies I have given up eating junk - like candy and
cookies. I managed to finish the big, thick, chocolate Christmas
tree which B and E sent to me first but now I also have to get back
into swimming the daily mile. I have been getting plenty of exercise
just doing my Handyman job. I originally gave up when I started the
plumbing job because I had to start at 7.30am but now I start later so
I have no excuse except that it is really cold here!
